Our Story

Established from a life-long passion for textiles, pattern and colour, Anna Spiro Textiles is the creative vision of acclaimed Interior Designer Anna Spiro. Made exclusively by hand in Australia, our collections are first illustrated and then screen-printed by hand or digitally printed onto fine Belgian Linen.

Anna Spiro

Anna Spiro has been working as an Interior Designer since her early 20’s. Her distinguished style and approach has accelerated most recently onto the world stage with her design of the much-talked-about boutique hotel, Halcyon House. Praised for her awe-inspiring ability to mix interesting patterned fabrics, antique furniture and art, Anna has worked tirelessly throughout her illustrious career creating beautiful homes and spaces for her client’s Australia-wide. In 2014 Anna published her first book, Absolutely Beautiful Things with Penguin. The book has become a source of inspiration for readers and admirers of Anna’s unique style throughout the world. Anna’s passion for beautiful fabrics and her life-long dream to create her own fabric collection has finally come to fruition with the formation of Anna Spiro Textiles.

Produced entirely in Australia, all of our collections are carefully constructed and screen-printed by hand or digitally printed on Belgian linen. The fabrics work beautifully on their own or even more successfully when mixed and matched on sofas, armchairs, curtains, cushions and lampshades in Spiro’s inimitable eclectic style.

Bringing together Anna’s unmistakable love of colourful, patterned fabrics with Julia’s vibrant artistic vision, the collection celebrates unbridled possibility in all its shapes and forms.

Comprising 8 hand-drawn geometric patterns created by Julia in a selection of vibrant colourways, an enchanting trailing floral design named Betty and Domino an exciting new playful weave offered in 16 colours. The collection invites you to get lost in a world of whimsical colourscapes – where bold hues collide, patterns dance, and imagination takes centre stage.
